What Happens Once I Complete My Application??
- You'll be notified via email as each step is completed in the process.
☐ Employment Verification
☐ Credit Check – Please note that no matter what your credit score, we will provide you an opportunity to explain any challenges with credit. This DOES NOT automatically disqualify you from getting accepted.
☐ Background check- Please note that no matter what your life challenges, we will provide you an opportunity to explain any challenges in your background. This DOES NOT automatically disqualify you from getting accepted.
☐ Reference Checks on ALL Applicants
☐ Phone Interview with ALL 18+ applicants/occupants.
☐ Family Accepted or Disapproved.
What happens if I'm accepted?
- Please note that once the family is accepted into our program, we then begin to search for a home to purchase specifically for this family. (UNLESS THERE IS A RENTAL PROPERTY LISTED ABOVE WHICH IS BEING APPLIED FOR.)
☐Tenant Notification via Email and Phone Conference
☐ Search for Family’s New Home Begins
☐New Home Goes Under Contract
- The purchase process could take anywhere from 45-120 days from onboarding date.
☐Tenant completes all necessary documents for Move-In
☐Tenant provides updated pay wage statements
☐Move-In Date Scheduled
☐One Week before Closing – Lease Execution
☐Home Purchase
☐Tenant Move-In
- The day the home is purchased, the tenant will have already completed their lease, provided updated pay wage statements and be ready to move in within days to a few weeks of the purchase of their new home.
What happens if I'm not accepted.
If you are not accepted into the program, you will be notified during the application process. At which time, you will be advised as to what steps need to be taken in order to be accepted.
- Your application will be kept on file for up to 120 days unless otherwise stipulated. After which time you will need to complete a new application.
